A Good Day

So I knew as soon as I woke up this morning that today was going to be a really good day. I went to bed early last night because my shoulder was cramping up very badly, I was grouchy from the pain, and I was exhausted. I fell asleep almost immediately and slept very soundly until about 7:45. When my alarm went off at 8 I got out of bed and felt groggy, but refreshed. I got ready as fast as I could because I needed to go to get my blood drawn before class at 9. I got my blood drawn rather quickly and actually made it to class right on time. After an hour of demos, Jacopo explained to me the final project and then gave us the rest of class to print or go out and shoot. I had nothing I wanted to print, so I decided to go out and shoot. I went home to get my camera and check my email before doing so. I was disappointed to find that my blood results hadn't been emailed yet, but it was still pretty early. However, I was thrilled to find an email from Mike that had his hotel stuff in it. I was relived because I was hoping he hadn't lied to me and now I knew for sure he hadn't. This just made my day so much better. After shooting I went home and made myself a sandwich before I headed over to Italian. I got to the Design Center right at noon but only saw one of my classmates. I asked her if we had class, I didn't know since I missed a day of class. She told me that the class got spilt up into groups for Thursdays and Fridays. Marta, my teacher, said I could just come on Thursdays since I have fresco on Fridays. After class, which was a lot of fun with only 6 of us, I went to Graphic Design and checked my email again. I found my blood results which were not good. My platelets are 32,000, which is very low, and my INR was 3.6 which is very high. I went to SACI main building to talk to Chiara, but she was at lunch so I left her a note. Afterwards I ran home and got my sketch pad which I had forgotten and went back to class. M teacher came to check on my work and said she liked my idea but didn't like one aspect of it, which she did like last week. So I spent the majority of class changing that aspect of my design and trying my best to get the project done. After class I went to SACI and Chiara told me I was scheduled for a treatment tomorrow at noon. This is good because I can go to a few hours of fresco, but it is also bad because that means I will be there longer. Keep your fingers crossed that my IV works. The rest of my night consists of dinner, a nice hot shower, fighting with our wifi, and relaxing.
