What A Day

So today was an icky day for me. I went to bed pretty late last night, but I didn't mind because I had all intentions on sleeping late today since I had nothing to do. I fell asleep almost immediately and slept very soundly until about 8 this morning. I got up to go to the bathroom and when I got back in bed to go back to sleep I heard that they are started working on the construction right outside my window. I had a really bad headache from my treatment yesterday and was frustrated because the construction was so loud I couldn't fall back asleep. I tried sleeping with my hands covering my ears for an hour and when that didn't work I got up and put my ipod on. This didn't work very well either. I did fall asleep for a few minutes on and off. At 10:30 I was so fed up with not being able to sleep, and my headache had just gotten worse, I decided to get up and start my day. I took some Tylenol which did not help and then realized it was about to rain which was probably another reason I had a headache. I brought my laundry in so it would dry before the rain started. After taking a shower and eating lunch I went down to the market to talk to Guiseppe because Mom had called me last night to tell me he sent the wrong bag home and to see if I could exchange it for the correct one. I talked to him and he said he couldn't exchange the bag for me because I didn't have the bag in Italy and said I would have to buy the new one. I asked if I could buy the new one and have my mom mail me the incorrect one and then get a refund for that one once he got it. He said no because I paid with a credit card. I called Mom and she said to buy the bag on credit card and that he was scamming us so she was going to call the credit card company and report him. That would be my luck. After talking to him I decided to go for a short walk before going home. I decided to be a tourist today and I bought a tshirt that I find pretty funny and a zip-up hoodie that says Firenze on it, something I have been wanting to remember my time here by. After my little bought with retail therapy, I came home and messed around online for about an hour and did some homework. I got really tired and still had a headache so I decided to take a nap around 3:30. This was the perfect idea because I woke up at 6 and felt so much better. I got up and made some dinner, pasta with a new sauce I'm not thrilled with and chicken. As I was coking and eating I decided to watch the first half of the Sci-fi series Tin Man. The rest of my night will probably be watching Tin Man, relaxing, and doing some work on my graphic design project.
