Midterms and Field Trips
So I knew last night that today was gong to be long and stressful, but I didn't know to what extent. So I started my day out by getting up around 8:30 and then going to my photo class. We started this class out with a midterm. The test was difficult because it was a lot of technical questions. I tried my best and hope that the questions I wasn't sure on were right. After the test around 10 the class went to the photography museum. We stayed there until about 11:15 and then headed over to the Piazza Vecchio. Here we were going to go to the museum but it was closed. This was a relief to 4 of us in the class because we had to be at the Design Center at 12 for an Italian midterm. I walked quickly over to the Design Center with a quick stop to get some food because all I had eat was toast. I got there a few minutes early and started my exam. It was extremely hard. I did the very best I could and made sure to put something down for every question. I finished my exam at about 1:05 and was supposed to meet my graphic design class at the Piazza Vecchio, yes the piazza I was just in with my photo class, at 1! I walked as fast as I could to the piazza to meet them. I got there and did not see them but it was very crowded. As a quick side note, I have realized that the city has doubled in the amount of tourists I have seen this week. Anyway, I called Sam who let me talk to the teacher and she gave me somewhat vague directions on how to get to the museum. I pulled out my map and found it. I took me about 20 to 30 minutes , many hills and some stairs, but I got there. We went to see the fashion art designer Cappucci. It was interesting and after we walked back to the Design Center for the remainder of class. By this time my back was hurting from carrying around my backpack with my Italian books and my camera in it. I was so happy to go home and chill out at my computer for a few hours. I decided to try to go to Capri or Naples for spring break next week. I was having trouble finding what I wanted so I went to SACI to see if they could help me. Alessia, my T.A., was tehre and she sent me to a travel agency associated with SACI. I walked there, after getting slightly lost, and they were closed by the time I got there. So I came home, made dinner, and am not relaxing for the rest of the night. Tomorrow is only one class, fresco, and no midterms and then my break starts.
