Soggy Meghan

Well today was a much better day despite the nonstop rain. My day started with my INR being low yet again. I then ran over to SACI to tell Chiara and go to my photo class. I was very excited about class because this was the first time I had been in over a week and I was gong to learn printing. After he showed us how to dodge and burn, which I was so lost on because I missed so much class, he took me into the dark room for my catch up lesson.  It was very confusing and a lot to take in, but I think I got it. So I made 2 contact sheets and a few test strips. I ran out of time, so I did not get to make an actual print. So I quickly got a panini and ran to my Italian class. That class is going well. I am starting to catch up and understand some of what is being said. After that class I went back to SACI main building because my graphic design class was going to an exhibition. By this time it had just started to rain so I was pretty happy that we were getting on a bus to go there. The exhibition was called Workwear and was just that. It was a fashion exhibition of all different kinds of uniforms and things that people use for many different jobs like medical field, hazmat, and hotel work. I took a ton of pictures, but the lighting was horrible so I am going to go back in the next few days and retake them. They are being used to redesign the logo. After this all of the buses were cancelled near the exhibit so we walked back to the Design Center in the pouring rain. After I took off my soaked coat, hoodie, and backpack I tried to dry off a little. I also had a pretty bad back ache because I had been carrying around my camera, 2 boxes of photo paper, and all my italian books! Next I had to go back to SACI main building to finish printing some test strips, again in the pouring rain. I was extremely happy to get back to my apartment where it was dry and not have to go out again for the rest of the night. Stacy is now talking to me, maybe she was in a funk? We also moved our router and the wifi seems to be working much better. So I am excited for tomorrow because I get to sleep in and only have one class. Too bad it is supposed to rain again. Good thing I don't mind getting wet.
